Pre-purchase structural inspection in Adelaide
Use this when you are buying and the building inspection has flagged cracking, movement, or “seek structural engineer advice”. The building inspector is not writing a structural opinion.
Choose the short letter if you only need a next step for yourself. Choose the full report if the conveyancer, lender, or the other side will be given the document.
What is included
- Site inspection of the house you nominate
- Photos and notes of the areas of concern
- Letter of advice ($645 inc GST, standard metro) or full written report ($1,295 inc GST, standard metro)
I inspect what can be seen. Concealed structure, under-slab conditions and soil class are not confirmed without opening up or a geotechnical report.
A standard residential job is a single-storey house of up to four bedrooms and two bathrooms, on a typical suburban allotment, within 25 km of the Adelaide CBD.
